Also coming thanks to backwards compatibility is a Streets of Rage collection from Sega, and Vanquish - also from Sega. Not too shabby, eh? It looks like an impressive list of games that you can play next month.

As for "Super Mega Baseball 2", sports fans will be thrilled to try out the game for free for the entire month of May. There's several great games in lineup, including the highly acclaimed Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. Like always, there will be two new titles for the Xbox One and two for the Xbox 360, plus one more game getting carried over from last month's Games with Gold promo. "Streets of Rage" will be free starting May 1, and will remain that way until May 15.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is a 2015 game from Hideo Kojima. To gain access to Games with Gold, Xbox One or Xbox 360 owners must be an Xbox Live Gold subscriber and claim their games. Vanquish is a third-person shooter created by PlatinumGames, the same studio behind Bayonetta. May's lineup provides over $79 dollars in value and up to 3400 in gamerscore. So for those who have yet to traverse the streets, or rather façade, of London as one of the enigmatic Assassins, there is still more than enough time to get this quintessential "Assassin's Creed" title. The game is now part of the April Games with Gold promotion and will be available until May 15th.
