Antonio Conte won't discuss potential Chelsea exit after season end

I'm the coach of this team.

Asked to elaborate on what mistakes he had made, Conte added: "When you have this type of season you have to share this responsibility, not only the boss". For sure, we must reflect at the end of the season.

But the Italian, expected to leave at the end of the season whether or not his side win the Cup, admitted: "It's hard to explain the reasons why we're struggling in this way this season".

"I think we've just been trying to give the players a bit more clarity in terms of what we do when we're trying to attack and when we're out of possession and at risk".

"My job is to work with the players, finish the season as strongly as possible for us".

"We must be frustrated".

PM Abbasi reaches Kabul for day-long visit
During his meeting with Ghani, the Afghan president invited PM Abbasi to "initiate a state-to-state comprehensive dialogue". Hours before the premier's visit, Afghanistan accused the Pakistan Air Force of violating its airspace.

Conte is expected to leave after months of tension with the Chelsea hierarchy over transfer strategy, while Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois are both attracting significant interest from Real Madrid. You start the season with great expectations. "I didn't see many players going away from this club then".

'If I play good, but we are not winning, I am not happy. But, for sure, I'm not alone.

"It is hard, very difficult, but it is possible", he said. I think this is a job for the club.

"Everyone has to find in himself the right desire, the right will to fight". The Blues are more or less out of the top-four after their stalemate versus West Ham United, and the Saints game should act as a dress rehearsal ahead of the FA semi-final against the same opposition next weekend.

The south coast outfit can actually jump outside the bottom three today with a win, should results elsewhere go their way, but that will be easier said than done, with Chelsea determined to put their poor recent run of form behind them.
