San Bruno Police Chief Ed Barberini told reporters the deceased woman had died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. "Now barricaded inside a room with coworkers", product management employee Vadim Lavrusik tweeted. A spokesman for San Francisco General Hospital said the hospital is receiving patients but did not say how many.

One victim has been shot in the chest although no fatalities have been confirmed, reports ABC7News.

YouTube parent company Google tweeted: "YouTube situation, we are coordinating with authorities and will provide official information here from Google and YouTube as it becomes available". They asked people in the area to stay away from Cherry Ave and Bay Hill Drive.

Earlier, several YouTube employees posted on social media that they heard gunshots and took cover inside before fleeing the building. A 36-year-old man is in critical condition, and two women, ages 36 and 27, were also injured.

San Bruno Police tweeted at 1 p.m.to avoid the area due to police activity.

The FBI is on the scene and is working with local law enforcement to investigate the shooting, although the San Bruno Police Department is the lead agency.

It supposedly raises questions about whether Dowd was offering pardons to influence their actions in the investigation. Lawyers for Flynn and Manafort declined to respond to the Times' request for comment.

Employees can be seen walking out of the building with their hands up.

Will Hudson said a friend who works for YouTube texted him about the gunwoman.

The city manager tells KRON4 they've received multiple 9-1-1 calls from YouTube, however, they did not disclose the reasons why.

The YouTube offices are located on the same suburban campus as Google.

Stanford Hospital says it has received patients from a shooting at YouTube headquarters, according to the Associated Press. Heard shots and saw people running while at my desk.

ATF officials said it will be responding to Tuesday's incident.
