Black box recovered after deadly jet crash


Another was the daughter of the owner of fashion label Mavi, who was due to get married this summer.

The trip was to mark the upcoming wedding of Turkish socialite and business heiress Mina Basaran.

Basaran was set to marry Murat Gezer at a five-star hotel in Istanbul in April.

Ms Basaran had been sharing glimpses f the hen party with her 75,000 followers on Instagram.

She was wearing a denim jacket with the words "Mrs Bride" and the hashtag "bettertogether" and carrying flowers.

Mina Basaran, seven of her friends and plane crew members were killed as they returned to Turkey from her hen weekend in Dubai. The last videos posted to her account showed her enjoying a concert by the British pop star Rita Ora at a popular Dubai nightclub.

Two of the young women were pregnant at the time, Turkish media reported.

Last month, all 66 people on board are feared dead after an Iranian commercial aircraft crashed into a mountain in a southern Iran valley this morning (Sunday).

Onboard the plane were several of her high profile friends, including Liana Hananel, founder of clothing brand Lily and Rose.

The friends had taken it in turns to attend one another's hen parties.

The head of Iran's Red Crescent, Morteza Salimi, told state television that two helicopters would fly to the area on Monday morning "to search for the plane's debris and bodies" - indicating there could be no survivors. Iranian media said some were burnt beyond recognition and would have to be identified through DNA.

But just over an hour into the flight, the plane rapidly gained altitude and then dropped drastically within minutes, according to flight-tracking website FlightRadar24.

It was gathered that the flight which was heading to Instanbul in Turkey began to fail after the plane's engine caught fire and crashed into the mountains of Iran.

According to Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Red Crescent Organization, the families of the Turkish victims have arrived in Shahr-e-Kord, the capital city of the province, as the investigations into the causes of the incident have begun.

The local people of the region have found 8 bodies out of 11 people on board the plane in the Durk Anari Kyyar region. They will be carried down from the mountain when sun comes up.
