New England Patriots: Should the Pats go after Lamar Jackson?

The other knock you hear against Jackson as a quarterback is that he completed too few of his passes.

The issue of Lamar Jackson, University of Louisville quarterback and 2016 Heisman victor, has caused everyone around the National Football League to lose their shit.

And what does he have to say to people who believe he should play wide receiver?

During his Friday press conference, former Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson named several teams he's already met with and the Steelers were one of them.

There had been vague reports about "multiple teams" requesting Jackson work out at wide receiver - a position he's never played before - at the combine. When asked about the notion he should switch positions, Jackson shut down that as quickly as he torched defenders with his flick of a wrist deep passes or jukes in the open field. "I don't even know where it comes from". I love to put the ball in other receivers' hands. "The accuracy isn't there". When you have a guy who can move around a little bit like Lamar, you make a defense play 11-on-11.

Palestinians angry at reports of early US Embassy move to Jerusalem
Trump also noted that other presidents during their election campaigns promised to make the move but always broke that promise. The scheduled opening of the USA embassy in May appears to represent an earlier time frame than what had been expected.

"That's insane", he said, laughing. I thought I did a good job at quarterback. "They can say what they want to say, build a story". "It just motivates me to go out there and show my ability", Jackson told reporters. We think it ends for good after his throwing session on Saturday. He added 1,571 yards and 21 touchdowns on the ground that season. For Jackson's sake that will hopefully be the only similarity he has with the Bengals Quarterback. Entering the TaxSlayer Bowl against Mississippi State above 60 percent but fell below that mark after struggling in a 13-for-31 passing performance that included four interceptions.

At least not according to a source in the know-Jackson himself. A Quarterback that the New England Patriots might want to take a look at. It's hard to see Jackson becoming a Jet, but perhaps Gang Green could take a second-round flier if they were to miss out on Kirk Cousins in free agency and address another need with the sixth pick. Jackson ran the Erhardt-Perkins offense at Louisville.

"Cam Newton and Tom Brady". I do mine. I stay away from that question.

Jackson hasn't hired an agent because he thinks the rookie wage scale is simple enough to negotiate. He has a lawyer, who will represent him in contract negotiations, and his mother is acting as his "manager". Jackson also could perform well in a West Coast offense.

Jackson said he plans to throw here, to show teams what he can do. "You're going to get the salary you're going to get [depending on where you're drafted]". "Just like they've been doing, before I even got there". I feel like I'm a field general when I'm out there.
