Cape Town heads for 'Day Zero' as water supplies dwindle
Still, the severe drought impacting Cape Town residents now is not an anomaly, as experts believe this is the city's new normal. Cape Town, now on Level 6B water restrictions, is still not achieving its target of 500 megaliters per day.

According to his lawyer, however, that report of a suicide attempt is completely untrue. The former actor was said to have attempted suicide previously when he cut his wrists in August of previous year.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Joey Blanch told the court that between April and December 2015, Salling used the internet to download 600 videos and about 29,000 images of sexually abusive "child erotica", including some showing "sadistic and masochistic" behavior.

As part of his plea deal, Salling was expected to be sentenced to 4-7 years in prison, after which he would have been under supervised release for 20 years.

It was in October of 2017 that Salling pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography involving a prepubescent minor. Sentencing in the case had been set to begin in March.
