Millie Bobby Brown to play Sherlock Holmes' sister!

While there have been multiple Sherlock Holmes stories on the screen in the past few years, The Enola Holmes Mysteries are something different.

Stranger Things stars Millie Bobby Brown is set to play Sherlock Holmes' sister Enola Holmes in a brand new film series. Whatever the case, it's a major move in the young actress's career as she's just signed a major deal to not only star in but produce a multi-film mystery franchise. She's already finished shooting her role as the (human) lead in the upcoming Godzilla: King of Monsters, and, according to Deadline, will re-team with that film's studio, Legendary Films, on the Holmes series.

The character of Enola was created by award-nominated author Nancy Springer in 2006. reporter Courtney Roland missing in Houston
Roland's mother told KPRC she received a text from her daughter's phone, saying, "hello the owner of this phone Courtney". Police said that they do not suspect any foul play, and have no reason to believe any crimes were committed.

The novels feature several characters that Sherlock fans will be familiar with, including Enola and Sherlock's brother Mycroft, and Sherlock's partner Dr Watson.

Alongside this exciting new project, Millie is also set to reprise her role as the iconic Eleven in Stranger Things. Not only have we had Benedict Cumberbatch's BBC TV series and Guy Ritchie's movies with Robert Downey the past ten years, but there's also a comedy starring Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly - titled Holmes and Watson - coming this November.
