Jerry Van Dyke dead at 86


The comedian - who is the younger brother of legendary actor Dick Van Dyke - passed away at his ranch in Arkansas on Friday (05.01.18).

His widow, Shirley, told TMZ that Van Dyke, 86, died at their Arkansas ranch with her by his side, and that his health had been deteriorating since a auto accident over two years ago. Though an exact cause of death is unknown, the actor is said to have been involved in a auto accident two years ago from which he never truly recovered.

He started his career he performing at military bases around the world before transitioning to the screen.
