Barcelona officials have reportedly met with members of Griezmann's family about a deal at the end of the season.

Griezmann renewed his contract until 2022 in June and Atletico consider contact made by Barcelona not only breaks FIFA's rules, but could also affect the integrity of La Liga.

The former Ajax player then forced a move to Barcelona in 2014 for a fee of about £65m and has gone on to score 130 goals in 168 appearances for the Blaugrana.

Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres hopes to see teammate Antoine Griezmann reject interest from elsewhere and continue his career at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Atletico Madrid have denounced FC Barcelona to the governing body of world football, FIFA because of the "repeated contacts" the Catalan club has had with Atletico' s French worldwide striker Antoine Griezmann.

An Atletico statement statement said: "Atletico Madrid have presented a complaint about Barcelona for repeated contact between Barcelona, the player and his people".

Sky Sports says that a Federation Internationale de Football Association spokesman has confirmed to them that they "have received a complaint from Atletico Madrid".

The France worldwide, who is under contract with the capital club until 2021-22, has been linked to moves to moves away from the capital over the past year, with Manchester United among the teams mentioned.

"If that's what the newspaper says, it may be that way, although I do not know".

If found guilty, Barcelona risk being banned from signing players for the second time in the past five years. Even though Suarez is not on top of his game, it does not seem as if the player wants to leave Barcelona.
