Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 official: it's basically a cheaper S8


The Galaxy A8 (2018) has 4GB RAM, whereas the Galaxy A8+ (2018) comes in 4GB and 6GB RAM options.

Like the previous Galaxy A range of smartphones, both the Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) are differentiated with only some features. It also embraces an 8-megapixel rear camera with a removable battery of 2600mAh. Talking about the display, Samsung Galaxy A8 features a 5.6-inch FHD+ (2220x1080) Super AMOLED display.

Battery: While the A8 2018 is backed by a 3,000mAh battery, the A8+ 2018 has a larger 3,500mAh battery inside. Guess what, Samsung's famous Live Focus camera mode is coming to both the phones.

There is no word on the India pricing at this moment, but the A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) will start at €499 and €599 respectively in Europe.
