Wings of Liberty, which is certainly the most-played real-time strategy game ever made, will be free for anyone to play starting on November 14. Morhaime says Blizzard is also improving StarCraft II's co-op mode, giving players free access to every commander in the game up to level 5. The Co-op Commanders Raynor, Kerrigan, andArtanis will remain completely free, meaning that you can keep leveling them to your heart's content.
The entire Wings of Liberty campaign is free, but the single-player Heart of the swarm, Nova Covert Ops and Legacy of the Void campaigns are available separately for $14.99 each or $39.99 when purchased as a bundle in the Campaign Collection. This is great news for gamers who have been wanting to get into the game. Player's can also look forward to new Co-op mission additions with the Part and Parcel mission and leaderboards which list scores for all co-op games.
In terms of new content coming to StarCraft II, at BlizzCon we got an announcement of a new two-in-one co-op commander, Mira Han and Matt Horner.
Fans will also be happy to hear that players will be able to access the ladder of all three games in the series. We're an esports website, so I'll not wax lyrical about it, but Starcraft II's singleplayer campaign is one of the best in the business and well worth the price of entry.

Been meaning to try out StarCraft II for the past seven years? You have to log in between November 8 and December 8 to claim that upgrade though.
Gamers will be able to play the entire campaign of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty for free once November 14 hits.
Besides that, Blizzard will be offering the game's online ranked competitive multiplayer mode for free with access to units from all three StarCraft II releases after unlocking the mode by achieving 10 "First Wins of the Day" in unranked games or against the computer.
