Osweiler Named Starting QB By Broncos

Denver Broncos head coach Vance Joseph has informed his team that Brock Osweiler will take over the starting quarterback duties over Trevor Siemian, according to Mike Klis of 9News in Denver and Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post.

But the Broncos currently have one front-line receiver in the pattern right now (Demaryius Thomas), they have been decidedly inconsistent up front in the offensive line, and despite the fact they run the ball well, they've rarely run it into the end zone over the first seven games. There is no veteran rest day this week coming off a "Monday Night Football" loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The team needs a fresh change, as they are up against the NFC-leading Eagles this Sunday, who are 7-1.

After a poor offensive performance on in Kansas City on Monday night, Broncos coach Vance Joseph has decided to make a change at the quarterback position.

A few bleary-eyed hours studying game film early Tuesday morning wasn't enough time for Joseph to make that decision. We're not yet two years removed from that happening, and now - 23 regular season games later - Osweiler is finally getting another shot to be Denver's starting quarterback.

"When you watch Trevor, even (Monday) night, he made three terrible interceptions", Joseph said. The Broncos signed him to be their backup before the season started.

New Zealand bowl against India in 3rd ODI
The partnership between Kohli and Rohit helped India to score 337 runs against New Zealand . They will get a chance to better that effort at Green Park stadium in the deciding ODI.

Brock Osweiler is back in the saddle under center for the Broncos.

Siemian was benched by the Denver Broncos with 10 interceptions on his docket this season and the team mired in a three-game losing streak. Lynch has been out since week three of the preseason with an injury to his throwing shoulder.

His first opportunity will come against arguably the best team in the National Football League, the Philadelphia Eagles.

"In your heart, you know he can play better because those three balls he threw, you just can't throw".

Siemian went 8-6 last season when the Broncos missed the playoffs, ending a five-year reign atop the AFC West. Osweiler also went 8-6 last year and 1-1 in the playoffs for the Texans, who traded him in the offseason to Cleveland.
