Authorities are still searching for a suspect in a shooting that killed a Grambling State University student and his friend after a fight on the Louisiana college's campus.

Those shot dead were Earl Andrews, 23, and Monquiarius Caldwell, 23, while the perpetrator, an unknown individual, fled the scene, the news outlet specified. Caldwell was not a student at the university, Sutton added.

According to GSU's website, it "combines the academic strengths of a major university with the benefits of a small college, a combination that enables our students to grow and learn in a serene and positive environment".

Based on preliminary information gathered at the scene, the shooting followed an altercation, which started inside one of the dormitories, said Williams.

According to Flynt, the process of impeachment is "dirty, scandalous work, but the alternative - another three years of destabilizing dysfunction - is worse".

More details to follow... The Lincoln Parish Sheriff's Office is the lead agency in the investigation.

The shooting happened early Wednesday morning in a courtyard between two campus dorm buildings. Students were not put on lockdown, but were urged to stay inside and pay attention to surroundings.

The victims' families are now in mourning.

Director of the University said that the incident occurred on campus during an argument with several students. "We will fully cooperate with the police investigation", said Sutton in his official statement, My Arklamiss reported.
