Here's What Fifa 18 on Switch is Missing

Furthermore, authentic sun positions, cinematic atmosphere grading, signature pitch-side fixtures, on-pitch debris, club and stadium specific banners, adaptive commentary, and changes in pitch quality all come together to bring the most immersive football experiences to life in FIFA 18. The most obvious is The Journey, the story mode that allows you to follow the career of Alex Hunter, which simply isn't in the Switch version. One such unhappy player commented: "buy Federation Internationale de Football Association 18". It runs beautifully, looks great, and all reports indicate that it's one of the best FIFAs to hit shelves in years. It's a decent port of this year's game, albeit running on an older engine and understandably without all the bells and whistles of its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One counterparts (and missing a few features such as The Journey mode and small details such as quick substitutions). Each of the FUT ICONS will have three unique versions available, marking different moments in their storied careers.

Squad Battles are a part of Ultimate Team where you earn points to gain rewards, but you won't be able to play them on the Switch version. This is a welcome improvement as you can choose which types of cross to find your striker, meaning that gameplay is different whether you have a pacey centre forward or strong target man. Computer-controlled teams also have their own playing style, so playing against Brighton & Hove Albion is a lot different than playing against Barcelona. If professional players can prove they can do the move, it will be available to them in game. All online games appear to be done via matchmaking, which is a shame.
