Tesla CEO Elon Musk fires back at "bogus" assistant story on Twitter

The Model 3 saloon was announced to much fanfare previous year, and Tesla handed over the first examples to employees in July.

The rating agency said the overall company's "B2" rating was supported by the fact that if Tesla ends up in serious financial trouble, its brand name, products and physical assets would be of "considerable value" to other automakers.

In addition to being the co-founder and CEO of electric auto company Tesla, Musk was co-founder of PayPal.

Tesla's first mass market EV, offers two different battery choices - a 50 kWh and a 75 kWh.

In a statement to Electrek, a spokesperson of Tesla has confirmed that "The presence of HW 2.5 will play down the significance of the Full Self-Driving Capability system". On her return, Musk is alleged to have let her go. Being an SUV means four-wheel drive is likely, although those after a truly capable electric vehicle may be better off waiting for the forthcoming Tesla pickup, which is also understood to be in development.

Other Edge improvements include a new look inspired by Microsoft's Fluent Design System , and several fixes for issues. This update, according to Microsoft, will give the Console a more modern look and feel than what you are used to.

Tesla has revealed little about the Model Y. The company says it will arrive in 2019 or 2020, although the date is apparently not firm. Until now, Tesla's Fremont, Calif., plant has been turning out fewer than 100,000 sedans and crossovers a year.

The claims, which were part of the Ashlee Vance's book "Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future", detail an exchange between Musk and his longtime assistant where he gave her a two week vacation after she asked for a raise.

Now it appears that at least some of these vehicles won't have all the "hardware needed", and will need to be taken to Tesla service centers for upgrades. Being a famous person who makes movies and electric cars respectively is certainly hard for reasons beyond my ken, but the number of vaguely-worded statements issued about the end of a "normal relationship" lead me to believe otherwise.

The real answer may be "never", that is until Tesla has more than a single factory ... meaning several factories (Ford's huge list of combined factories globally can output about 16 vehicles every minute). By selling bonds now, Musk can raise cash for Model 3 production without diluting equity holders.

"There will be nothing close to it", he hinted, although providing no details.
