The 30-year-old is scheduled to travel to Spain on Sunday to complete his medical ahead of signing a three year contract.

Nolito has scored six global goals in 16 appearances, but struggled to nail down a regular first-team place under City coach Pep Guardiola last term.

Nolito had previously played under Guardiola at Barcelona and was his second signing as City boss, arriving at the Etihad shortly after German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.

'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Swinging to $120 Million Debut
That's a huge win for Sony, Columbia Pictures, and Marvel Studios for the film, which cost roughly $175 million to produce. The movie, boasting an early domestic total of $6.9 million, once again scored a strong per theater average, or $11,200.

Nolito will also be reunited with his former manager at Celta Vigo in Eduardo Berizzo, who succeeded Jorge Sampaoli earlier in the summer, and it was his form during the 2015/16 campaign which convinced City to sign him last summer. It is thought that the deal to take Nolito back to Spain is worth around €9 (£7.9m). He did not start a league game - or score a goal - in 2017.

Last month the forward moaned about the Manchester weather claiming his daughter had changed colour due to the lack of sun and he had not learnt much English.

The team have already travelled to Japan for their pre-season tour and Nolito is expected to join them on Tuesday and at least get acquainted before the sea on starts.
