Riyad Mahrez to Arsenal: Winger furious with Leicester for blocking move

Arsenal were linked with Mahrez last summer but a move failed to materialise for the Algeria worldwide.

The 21-year-old shone for Monaco last season and Arsenal have made a £40m bid, which has angered Mahrez as he looks for a way out of the King Power Stadium, according to the Daily Mirror.

It may be that Arsenal have no choice but to pursue Mahrez instead, yet with Leicester demanding £15m more than the Gunners want to offer it remains to be see how likely a deal is on that front either.

Arsenal's move for Riyad Mahrez has been reportedly put on hold, with the Gunners unwilling to shell out £50 million to secure the summer deal. The Leicester City manager has already issued a public warning to the player he will be left out of the team if he shows a lack of commitment.
