Assassin's Creed and Far Cry publisher Ubisoft is teasing a new game in the Far Cry series. However it appears that a new Far Cry game might be in the works.
An image of an island and very piratey-looking skull has been posted on the publisher's Facebook page with the caption 'Une île que l'on n'a jamais vraiment quittée, ' which loosely translates to 'An island we never really left'. Let us know in the comments. The first is that Ubisoft is releasing a remastered version of Far Cry 3, as the game will be turning five years old this November, and it's a true fan favorite.
Even though Far Cry Primal was average it still performed pretty well for a spin-off and it will be interesting to see if the series does return to its modern survival action roots in the new title. Many gamers including myself absolutely loved that character and believe that he didn't play a big enough role in the original game.
British police shoot woman, arrest six suspects in counter-terrorism raids
The official threat level for global terrorism now stands at severe , indicating that an attack is "highly likely". The woman who was shot is under police guard in hospital but has not been arrested "due to her condition".
That might not seem all that odd had Far Cry 3 not been released some four years. To be honest, that seems like the least exciting route Ubi could go, and a prequel story or remaster seem more likely.
Update: Ubisoft has told Game Informer that this was simply a "throwback post", and that it wasn't meant as a tease.
