The pop prince gushed happily over his guest Fonsi after their stage spot together. What the fans did not expected at all, was to see both artists playing the song for the first time in Puerto Rico, just days after it became viral. The original music video for "Despacito" generated close to a billion views on YouTube since the release in January and topped Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart as number one for eleven weeks.

"Thank you so much". After the two singers performed the new song, Selena Gomez's ex thanked the Puerto Rican heartthrob for allowing him to collaborate on the addicting single. "It's wonderful!" Justin said about Fonsi after the performance.

The video even surpassed Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" premiere. The original version of "Despacito" is now number one on Billboard's Hot Latin Song chart, with more than 980 million views on the platform. Justin also shared the artwork on his social media.
