If Orton survives the House of Horrors match planned for Payback against Bray Wyatt that is.

Jinder Mahal is getting a shot at the WWE Championship. Also, Charlotte debuted on SmackDown last week and made her intentions of becoming Women's Champion clear. Last week, AJ defeated Corbin and Sami Zayn to become the number one contender for Kevin Owens' United States Championship. Charlotte says they have to go through her first.

Charlotte Flair will challenge Naomi for her Smackdown Women's Championship after beating her on just her second night on the show.

Something that clearly didn't go down well with the rest of the women's locker room, several members would take their chance to let the Smackdown Commissioner know their feelings.

Jinder Mahal, who has never held any kind of title in WWE, pinned Sami Zayn after some outside interference from NXT tag team The Bollywood Boyz. Since Styles is in the main event against Baron Corbin, Owens is sticking around for commentary.

Both women pushed each other to the limit, but in the end it was Flair who walked away with the victory.

Check back in next week for coverage of the match between Charlotte and Naomi.

Looking to chill out by slamming the Colon brothers into Oblivion, Jason Jordan and Chad Gable were in fine form as they applied some heavy blows to Primo and Epico. Owens won in short order with the pop-up powerbomb.

With Owens ringside, a message was sent to the champion by the man who calls himself "the phenomenal one". The two should lock horns for the first time on tonight's show.
