The reported rise in sales of Ivanka merchandise comes amid an ongoing boycott against the business interests of the Trump family, such as the #GrabYourWallet campaign. Additionally, Ivanka Trump brand sales were up 86 percent in November 2016 - the very same month her father defeated Clinton in the presidential elections.
Lyst, a major fashion e-commerce retailer based in the United Kingdom, also saw a huge shift: in terms of orders, Ivanka's brand ranking jumped from 550th on the site in January to 11th in February with a 346 percent uptick in sales between the two months. Citing data from fashion e-commerce website Lyst, the Post reported that the first daughter's fashion-oriented brand was only at No. 550 in the world in terms of orders as of January 2017.
"For several different retailers, Ivanka Trump was a top performer online, and in some of the categories it was the best performance ever", Klem said. Sales at Amazon were up more than 300 percent. Amazon has reportedly replaced Nordstrom, which previously dropped the brand, as the largest seller of Ivanka products.
"To see such an extreme spike in one month is completely unheard of and came as a huge surprise to us", the U.S. spokesperson for the London-based company Sarah Tanner told Fox News on Wednesday.
Comparing the share price and sales figures is not indicative of much.
But the brand was "largely featured" in the news in February, Tanner said.

The label's sales also jumped 148 percent at Macys.com and 29.5 percent at Bloomingdales.com, which is owned by Macy's. SimilarWeb said it also saw search traffic for the brand.
"I think if a lot of people do a small thing and don't buy a certain brand it can effect the brand".
An online retail research firm reported that sales in the USA of products from the Ivanka Trump fashion line on Amazon were up by over 332% during January and February in comparison to the same two months one year ago.
Nordstrom stock was up 4% during the period as well, but is lower by over 7% on the year.
