More trouble for Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber is a suspect in an alleged battery that went down at a pre-Grammy party in Los Angeles.

The pop singer, 22, apparently lost it after realising his "play fight" with his fellow former Disney star Kyle Massey was being recorded, asking for the phone video to be deleted.

Authorities say he headbutted the victim, which was not captured on camera.

The lawyers in the case claim Bieber's team informed them the day of the February 8 deposition that he was "ill" and could not attend, but then the legal team discovered YouTube videos where the "What do you mean?" singer is chugging beers and partying.

Photos of Bieber leaving the event with his producer Poo Bear in an SUV show him ducking down behind a vehicle seat to hide from cameras.

Reps for Bieber did not respond to request for comment. The documents also stated that "hours after skipping the deposition, Defendant Bieber posted pictures on his Instagram page toasting a drink with friends - implicitly celebrating that he has violated the law, the respect for this Court, and the respect for all the parties and counsel who flew to California to accommodate Defendant Bieber". The alleged victim is said to not want to press charges against Bieber.

Police are investigating claims that Justin Bieber headbutted a man after fighting two bartenders at a West Hollywood restaurant.

In May of a year ago, Bieber was sued by a man who alleged that Justin destroyed his cell phone after the artist caught this man filming him doing a beer bong.

A representative for Serafina restaurant told ET on Thursday that nobody from their staff was involved in the incident.

"We always have pleasant experiences with Mr Bieber whenever he comes to Serafina".
